ECA: Easy Memberships App

Installing the Easy Memberships App

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin Panel.

2. Go to the Shopify App Store and search for 'Easy Memberships'.

3. Click ‘Add App’ and then approve the installation.

4. Once installed, Easy Memberships will appear under your Apps section.

Initial Setup

After installing, follow these steps:

• Open the app from your Shopify admin dashboard.

• Configure your store’s default settings:

- Business Type (Products, Services, Community, etc.)

- Default Currency & Tax Settings

- Email Notification Preferences

Welcome to Easy Memberships, the ultimate solution for merchants looking to offer flexible, tiered membership plans directly within their Shopify store. Whether you want to offer exclusive content, gated products, or member-only discounts, Easy Memberships enables you to create, manage, and grow your subscriber base with ease.

Creating a Membership Plan

To create your first membership plan:

1. Go to the ‘Plans’ section.

2. Click on ‘Create Plan’.

3. Enter the plan name, description, pricing, and billing frequency.

4. Set access rules such as discount eligibility, or restricted product and collections.

5. Save the plan. It will now be visible in your storefront if enabled.

Add Membership Widget block

Use the built-in widget to display the membership plan display:

Step 1: Go to Your Shopify Admin

From the left-hand side menu, go to Online Store > Themes.

Step 2: Customize the Theme

Under Current Theme, click Customize to open the theme editor.

Step 3: Navigate to the Page You Want to Add the Block

Use the top page selector dropdown in the theme editor to choose where you want the app block to appear.

Common choices: Home Page, Product Page, or Custom Page Template.

Step 4: Add the App Block

In the left panel, click Add section or Add block (depending on the area).

Scroll down to the Apps section.

Select the app block named Easy Memberships (or similar, depending on how it's registered).

The app block will be added to your page preview.

Step 5: Configure the App Block (if needed)

Click on the newly added app block.

Use the settings panel to configure how the block looks or behaves (if the app offers customization options).

Save your changes by clicking the Save button at the top right.

Managing Your Members

• Access the ‘Members’ tab to view, filter, and manage subscribers.

• You can cancel, pause, or active a membership manually from this section.

Notifications & Automation

• Navigate to the ‘Notifications’ tab under settings menu to enable/disable default email templates.

• Customize onboarding, renewal, and cancellation emails.

• Integrate with Shopify Flow or Zapier for advanced automation.
